Motorola Moto G (3rd gen)

                       Motorola has launched the Moto G 3rd generation smartphone at the company's launch event in New Delhi, India ahead of similar events in London, New York, and Sao Paulo where the company is expected to unveil other smartphones.

CAMERA

The company has also upgraded the camera on the Moto G (Gen 3) which now sports a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and f/2.0 lens, and a 5 mega-pixel front camera. The second-generation Moto G featured an 8 mega-pixel autofocus rear camera, and a 2 mega-pixel front-facing camera.

DISPLAY

The new Moto G comes with a 5-inch 720p HD (1280 x 720) display with pixel density at 294 ppi, just like its predecessor. It also comes with similar Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

BATTERY

The new Moto G has a slightly larger 2,470mAh battery, which the company claims lasts up to 24 hours of mixed usage. The second-gen smartphone has a 2,070mAh battery in comparison.

STORAGE

Motorola has announced two storage variants for the Moto G (third generation). It will come with 8GB and 16GB storage variants, with micro SD slot for further 32GB expansion. The Moto G (second generation) only came with an 8GB storage option, with a microSD slot of course

ADVANCED WATER RESISTANCE 

Motorola has for the first time made one of its phones water resistant. The Moto G (3rd Gen) is rated IPX7 which means that it has been designed to withstand immersion in up to 3 feet of fresh water for up to 30 minutes provided the back cover is properly sealed. We want to stress here that the Android Lollipop smartphone isn’t dust resistant.
